We're letting some of our most accomplished endorsers put this kit to the test. And the response has been unanimous. You can't go wrong with this set no matter what style of music you are playing.

"I've played other kits with similar features, NONE OF 'EM COME CLOSE."

Matt Garstka

Inspired by his father Greg Garstka (a professional guitar player), Matt Garstka began playing drums at age 8. At age 11, Matt started gigging with his father, playing rock, blues and reggae. By age 14, Matt was playing in Rock, Fusion, Funk, Punk, Latin, Jazz, and Reggae groups. Playing most often with seasoned musicians, Matt quickly developed into a versatile and mature musician. Also at 14, Matt had the chance to meet Jo Sallins who inspired him to become a professional world class musician. He worked tirelessly at his craft, studying all styles of music with the help of Jo Sallins and Greg Garstka. He soon began doing studio work and started teaching privately. Matt toured several times with Gokh Bi System, an African Hip Hop band, several times during his studies at Berklee College of Music. Matt graduated from Berklee in 2011. He moved to L.A. shortly to further his musical pursuits. Soon after moving to L.A. he joined the band Animals as Leaders and has been touring with the band internationally.

"The snare drum is one of the best sounding snares I've ever played. The Kick Drum is a monster. Tama went above and beyond with this kit."

Buddy Gibbons

Buddy has become a fixture on the L.A. studio scene. In the past year, his music has been featured on various TV networks, including Fox, CBS, and NBC. Songs that he composed and played on have been placed over 11,000 times! The list of artists that Buddy has played with is long and diverse, but it includes Phil Stacey and Kristen McNamara (American Idol Finalists), The Mile High Orchestra (Fox's Next Great American Band finalist), Jason & DeMarco, Shiloh, Abe Laboriel Sr., Stan Lassiter, Emanuela Bellezza, Tamela D'Amico, Shanti, Lee Whittaker, A.M. Session, and Max Vague... just for starters.

"It has that vintage vibe but it's tough though"

Alan Evans

Over the past 13 years Alan Evans has honed his skills as a percussionist, guitarist, vocalist, writer, recording engineer and producer. After gaining fame as founder, writer and drummer of Soulive, just mention the name Alan Evans to a room full of music lovers, and you will get a consensus nod at one of the most celebrated and tenacious drummers in the jazz, funk, and soul scene. Alan's repertoire of skills have been perfected with more than a decade of dedication. His newest creation is an inspiring and fresh organ trio lineup dubbed the Alan Evans Trio. Their passionate progressions emanate an electrified, smoky, 70s-era CTI Records zeitgeist.
