Stewart Copeland Is Back on the Beat!
Hear Stewart and his Tama Starclassic Maple kit on his new anthology CD and on tour with The Police, all over the world!

Tama’s longest-term endorser, Stewart Copeland rose to international stardom as drummer and co-founder of the Police, with whom he earned critical acclaim for his intricate, textured drum work. Beginning with their first hit, 1979’s “Roxanne,” the trio emerged as one of the most popular and innovative bands of the post-punk era, drawing upon reggae, funk, and world music to create a uniquely infectious yet cerebral brand of music which generated a series of smash singles including “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Every Breath You Take,” and “King of Pain.”

When the Police reformed this year after a two decade hiatus, millions of fans, still nurturing the dream of seeing the band play live again, were thrilled to have singer/bassist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and, of course, drummer Stewart Copeland back onstage and touring the world once more.
