A 1.2 mm steel shell—thicker than the regular model—provides powerful volume, while the Steel Mighty Hoops add even more crisp attack to the solid steel tone. The drumheads are upgraded to Evans G1 Coated and Resonant Snare Side, the same specifications used on S.L.P. and Starclassic Snare Drums, giving the drum a more expressive sound and allowing for more precise tuning.
