DESCRIPTION
BIOGRAPHY
Daniel Reberger currently serves as the Director of Percussion for Leander High School. In addition to duties with the high school, he is also the percussion coordinator for Running Brushy and Leander middle schools.
Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he studied with Kevin Bobo, Steve Houghton, John Tafoya, and Michael Spiro.
As an active musician, Daniel has extensive drum corps experience, having marched with the Troopers (2012), the Madison Scouts (2013, 2014), and the Cadets (2015, 2016). Reberger has also performed with the Indiana University Wind Ensemble and the Indiana University Percussion Ensemble.
Daniel has been an educator in Texas since graduating from Indiana University. Prior to joining the Leander Band staff, he was the Director of Percussion at Highland Park High School (2019 UIL 5A State Marching Silver Medalist), Belton High School, and the assistant percussion director at Wakeland High School. Additionally, he has served on the battery percussion educational staff at the Spirit of Atlanta Drum Corps since 2023.
Daniel resides in Leander, TX with his wife, Katelin, and their two cats, Duck and Molly. He is an affiliate of Innovative Percussion and Zildjian, and is proud to be a part of the TAMA | BERGERAULT Artist Roster.
