This STAR Reserve is a limited-edition model featuring an extra thick Mahogany shell.
Crafted from 9mm/11ply G-Mahogany, this shell produces warm, full body tone and is enhanced by the deep and rich sound unique to a thicker shell construction.
To preserve the Mahogany's open and resonant sound, 2.3mm flanged steel hoops are used, drawing out a long, open sustain.
The snare drum visually stands out with its refined aesthetic that features an outer ply of Tineo, a wood known for its natural reddish brown tone and lush vertical grain.

Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snare Wires
In order to provide a more crisp and sensitive sound, we redesigned our Snare Wires using new materials, customizing the shape of the plate, and changing the wire coils' winding pattern. As a result, Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snare Wire fits more closely to the snare side head, providing greater sensitivity and brighter, crisper sound.
