In that time, he's worked under the direction of a variety of prestigious conductors (Daniel Barenboïm, Pierre Boulez, Semyon Bychkov, Gustavo Dudamel, Christoph Eschenbach, Valery Gergiev, Paavo Järvi, Armin Jordan, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Andris Nelsons, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Zubin Mehta, ...).
Additionally, Frédéric is a prominent soloist and chamber musician. He tours regularly throughout the world performing solo recitals, concertos and chamber music concerts with many prominent musicians such as Christoph Eschenbach, Tzimon Barto, Martha Argerich, Marie-Josèphe Jude, Alexandre Rabinovitch, Jesse Levine, Li Biao and with Paris-Percu, the chamber music ensemble he founded.
He is also the Director of Percussion Studies at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris, a percussion teacher at the PSPBB in Paris and is a sought after clinician, working with students throughout the world.
Moreover, Frédéric is the founder and director of "perKumania" the international percussion festival in Paris, which he managed for 13 years. He is also the director of the PAS International Instrument Competition in Paris and the director of the "perKu en Herbe" competition for children.
As a clinician and a teacher, Frederic appears regularly throughout all of Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. During his travels, he's visited some of the most prestigious music schools in the world.
He also judges many international competitions such as the World Marimba Competition, Drumfest Poland, Universe Marimba Competition, IPEA Shanghai, PASIC Competition and others.
As a Composer, his works are published by A. Leduc and Alfonce Production, and he's an editor with French publisher, Gérard Billaudot, in their percussion division. His music is currently very popular and is performed frequently by students and professional musicians. His two timpani concertos, Meeting Point and Escales, have been performed across the globe, and his most recent snare drum concerto, Biao (2018), is preparing to go out on tour once again.
