Welcoming William Platt To TAMA | BERGERAULT

We’re pleased to welcome William Platt as the latest influential figure from the concert percussion world to join the TAMA | BERGERAULT artist roster. Bill is a graduate of The Eastman School of Music, and just recently retired from his long-standing position as Principal Percussionist of the Cincinnati Symphony and Cincinnati Pops. During this time, he performed in several tours of the US, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Europe. He has appeared in over 100 recordings, including many as a featured soloist. Before joining Cincinnati, Bill played in the U.S. Army Band in Washington, D.C. and the symphony orchestras of Rochester, N.Y. and Richmond, VA. This is only a small portion of Bill’s impressive resume, and we value and welcome into the fold the knowledge and experience he brings.
