Proudly Welcoming Will Alderman to the Artist Roster
Will Alderman is an Assistant Professor of Percussion at Eastern Michigan University. A versatile musician, he performs as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and drummer in various ensembles. His quartet, Without Borders, has toured internationally with their marimba quartet transcription of Béla Bartók's String Quartet No. 5. An active composer and arranger, Will has served as percussion arranger for marching bands across the country and composed several solo and ensemble works for percussion with many more on the way.
He holds a D.M.A. in Music Performance and Pedagogy from James Madison University, an M.M. in Music Performance from Ithaca College, and a B.M. in Music Performance from Western Michigan University. He’s also an active member of the percussive arts society. Will brings this experience and so much more to TAMA | BERGERAULT, and we’re thrilled to welcome him.
