The bowls on BERGERAULT Timpani are made from a single piece of spun copper as opposed to being pressed into shaped and finished with a steel top ring. This construction method creates a more resonant drum with much better projection and a fuller sound.

The Heavy Duty Locking Casters allow the Timpani to glide smoothly over surfaces and their sturdy build-quality ensures they can support the weight of the drums. The locks also ensure no movement while playing.

All Timpani sets include a BERGERAULT tuning key and drum mounted key holder on the 26” drum. (Note: 26” drum is the only diameter that includes a key and holder.)

This system maintains equal tension balance between the pedal and drum head which allows the pedal to remain in position, even after foot pressure is removed. There is also a double-wheel caster under the pedal for smooth, effortless moving of the drum.

This feature allows for adjusting the balance between the pedal and head tension system for proper tuning and pedal response.

The Tuning Gauge offers a guideline enabling more accurate note changes. The letter indicators are also black and white for better visibility in low light.

These six-sided tuning bolts allow the key to maintain a firmer grip on the bolt surface reducing the possibility of slipping and allow for accurate and precise tuning. Having only six bolts creates a more open sound and makes tuning faster and easier.
